Introducing the Better before Bigger Team

Over the past eighteen months, I have moved from working on my own to welcoming three new members to my team. Together we can offer a greater diversity of content, which presents the philosophies I advocate in a variety of ways and across more platforms. I look forward to 2022, where our skillsets can combine to create more relevant content and offerings than ever before.

Introducing the ‘three marketeers’:

Megan:

I started working for Nick in October of this year. Though I have not been in this role for long, I have learnt a lot. My degree is in theatre, and my Masters in creative writing, but I have always been interested in how business is involved within these industries. This led me to marketing and social media.

Working with Nick has allowed me to explore my creativity, which I value most in my work. From designing the eBooks, to refreshing Nick’s website, to creating Instagram posts, I have been allowed to have a go and do what I think works well for Nick and the Better before Bigger brand.

I have gained a lot of confidence in my own work during this time, finding that Nick’s main message of getting better before bigger is something I solidly believe. With Nick and the team, I have found how I work well, what my strengths are, and what I can achieve when I really put my head down. I am very grateful for this opportunity to build on my self-confidence every day.

Kirsty:

I began my work with Nick last month, predominantly working on his social media channels - planning and designing various visual content. My degree was in photography so I love being creative, and my role allows me to explore this. In the short time I have spent working in this team, I have learnt a lot about teamwork, digital marketing, and the mission behind all Nick does.

I look forward to the coming months where I can diversify my skillset and combine well with my new colleagues.

Jack:

I started working for Nick a little over a year ago. During the various lockdowns it was fantastic to be productive and broaden my skillset, particularly as I had only just left university. My degree was in English, so I have found it interesting to explore a different avenue in the business world.

I find working for Nick engaging because the central philosophies behind his coaching align with my own beliefs. He advocates proper preparation and planning before you set out to achieve something, an approach I have learned (over years of just diving straight in) is the most effective. His central message is that before an organisation can get bigger it must get better first; this resonates with me.

Over my time with Nick, I have developed competencies in areas I had never encountered before: website building, networking, and of course, talking to people on Zoom. Trying these new things has definitely built my confidence and made me realise I can be useful in more ways than just tinkering on Microsoft Word. I have the privilege of enjoying my work and believing whole-heartedly than Nick is the best person to help you achieve sustainable success.
